Day 10 of 14 days of Traveling: New York City

Welcome to day 10 of 14 days of traveling. A place I would love to visit is New York City. I have always wanted to visit New York City, especially me being a marketing major that is normally where I often see many social media marketing jobs located. Three activities that I would love to do is visit the SUMMIT one Vanderbilt experience, Helicopter Tour and Secret Food Tour of Chinatown/ Little Italy. One famous dish I would love to try is the jerk chicken in New York. 

One activity I would love to do is the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt experience, which offers a observation deck, includes three floors that have immersive art, bar and incredible views. I love good scenery, so this would be so amazing to see and a great place to take a few photographs because I love taking pictures as well. Also, perfect thing to do with either a friend or family member 

Second activity I would love to do is go on the New York City helicopter tour. I think this would be so fun. The tour consist of a tour in the sky being able to see Manhattan, catch sight of the Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty and Central park plus more. I would absolutely love this because I would love to see the view of New York City and being able to see the amazing view from being above the ground. 

Third activity I would love to do is visit the Secret Food Tour of Chinatown and Little Italy. You will be able to go through Manhattan's most iconic streets, hear the amazing stories and more about the culture. As well as, enjoy unique bites like pizza, cheesecake, dumplings and mochi doughnuts . I think this would be a lovely opportunity and who doesn't love food with tours. I know I do, so I would love to experience this.

A famous dish I would love to try is jerk chicken at Peppa's. I would just love to try it to see if it has a different taste compared to the jerk chicken I often have at home. This jerk chicken is often made with over flame, Peppa's rendition has a charred exterior and vinegar tang. Then, the jerk sauce that it has adds fiery notes of all spice and scotch bonnet pepper. I think this will be pretty delicious and nice to test the taste.

Day 9 of 14 Days of Traveling: Galapagos Islands

Welcome to Day 9 of 14 days of Traveling. I would love to visit Galapagos Islands. I think it would be an amazing to see more of the beautiful island. Three activities I would love to visit is Snorkeling & Diving, visit Famai Thai Message and Tortuga Bay Beach. A famous dish I would love to try is Arroz Marinero(Seafood rice). In addition, to this a drink I would love to try is Morocho.

One activity I would love to do is Snorkeling & Diving. I think this would be an exciting thing to do, considering I have never done this before. Furthermore, I would love to see the sealions, penguins and turtles. The waters are normally calm and sheltered. There are a variety of tours to take such as Kicker Rock, Los Tuneles, Pinnacle Rock and North Seymour Island. The one I would love to do is the Kicker Rock because it has both sea turtles and lions.

Second Activity I would love to do is visit the Famai Thai Massage. I have never had the massage experience, so I think it would be pretty nice. I would like to try the "Thai yoga massage". This is an ancient healing system combining acupressure, Indian ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. Famai Thai Massage allows you to pick from a wide variety of massage packages, which is nice because I am able to pick the one of my choice.

Third Activity I would like to do is visit Tortuga bay beach by seeing the seabirds and sea lions on the other side of a beautiful lagoon. I would enjoy seeing the beautiful view and sunset. As well as, be in the sand and the water. I love the beach and the island vibes.

                          

A famous dish I would love to try is Arroz Marinero, which is seafood rice. It has shrimp, mussels and are mixed with their natural juices and unique groups of vegetables. Which includes yucca, avocado, onion, chili peppers or even plantains. Furthermore, the seafood and vegetables mix is served over rice. Also it is often combined with garlic, pepper and coriander. I think this would be delicious. I love rice and shrimp so much.

                                                  

A famous drink I would love to try is Morocho, which is a traditional beverage made from Morocho corn, which is soaked in ground, cooked with milk, sugar and spruces such as cinnamon. It is a very thick and creamy drink. I think this would be so good. I'm such a fan of drinks with cinnamon.

Day 8 of 14 days of Traveling: New Orleans

                        New Orleans

Welcome to Day 6 of 14 days of Traveling. A place I would love to travel is New Orleans. I think it would be a nice place to see and I love how they often have different festivals. Three activities I would love to do is visit the New Orleans jazz museum, Mardi Gras World Behind the Scenes Tour and a hands-on cooking class with a local chief. As far as a famous dish goes, I would love to try Cafe Beignet.

One activity I would love to do is visit the New Orleans jazz museum. It is housed in the historic Old U.S Mint, located at the intersection of the French Quarter and the Frenchmen Street. It often emphasizes daily lectures and concerts. In addition, to these different exhibits. I have never been to a jazz museum before; however, I think this would be pretty cool. Also, I would love to learn more about the jazz history in New Orleans and to be able to see different exhibits they offer.

                             

  Second activity I would love to do is visit the Mardi Gras Behind the Scenes Tour. You are able to see the secrets behind putting Mardi Gras together, and are provided with a tour about more of the behind the scenes and different creativity that is often put into it. I think this would be fun, considering I love festivals and to see the behind the scenes will be pretty nice because I know this is a big event they host with different props and costumes.

Third activity I would love to do is take a hands-on cooking class to prepare a meal. I love food, I definitely would be open to learning how to cook a decadent creole cuisine dish. Dishes that consist of jambalaya, seafood gumbo, crab bisque and bananas fosters. I think that would be delicious. Also, working with a local chef from New Orleans  would just be so interesting.

                               

 

    A famous dish I would love to try is Cafe Beignet on Bourbon street. I always wanted to try these, they look so good. I'm always seeing different reels with them and how they are created in New Orleans.  Beignet is always served hot, is the official doughnut of Louisiana, it is topped with powdered sugar and is best paired with a cup of cafe au lait(coffee with milk)

Day 7 of 14 days Traveling: Dubai

                             DUBAI             

Welcome to Day 7 of 14 days of traveling. A place I would love to visit is Dubai. The scenery is really amazing there, I just think it would be a beautiful place to go to. Three activities I would love to do is go to the Dubai Aquarium, Underwater zoo and Mall of Emirates. 

One activity I would love to do is visit the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater zoo. This looks like it would be so much fun. Ever since I was a little girl, I always loved going to the aquarium and zoo. Additionally, the fact that it is built underwater makes it even more fascinating. I would be so curious to see how it is built, the scenery and the animals that they incorporate in this exhibit. Also, it would be a great activity to do amongst family and friends depending on who I visit with.

                          

Second activity that I would love to do is visit the Burj Khalifa. It has several open-air viewing decks and swanky lounges which offer splendid views of the UAE and the Persian Gulf. I think this would be pretty awesome because it is an elevator ride that can allow you to see the Panoramic City's views and scenery. Additionally, for it to be a record breaking skyscraper in Dubai, I believe that would make it an even worthwhile experience. 

Third activity that I would love to visit is the Mall of Emirates. I love to shop, I would love to see the diverse dining and cinema scenery that they have in it. As well as, what stores that they have and to see do they offer more than what I normally see at other malls I have visited.  I think this would be my most favorable activity due to this being one of my favorite hobbies.

                                      

A famous dish I would love to try is Shish Tawook. This is a kebab meal that is on a stick.

It is made with chicken, yogurt, garlic oil, lemon juice and a variety of spices. The spices consist of paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cinnamon, allspice, oregano, cayenne pepper and salt/pepper. Additionally, the chicken contains skinless chicken breast or thighs, the yogurt is used to tenderize the chicken, the garlic is used to add a lil flavor. I think this would be delicious considering how much I love chicken. But, also would be a unique dish for me because I never had a kebab that features yogurt.

Day 6 of 14 days of Traveling: Colorado

Welcome to day 3 of  14 days of traveling.  A place I would love to visit is Colorado. Three activities I would love to do are visit the Denver Botanic Gardens, Telluride Mountain Village Gondola and Skiing. As far as a famous dish I would try would be their truffle fries.

First Activity I would love to do is visit the Denver Botanic Gardens. I would love to see the botanic sanctuary with diverse flora and serene water. As well as, being able to take pictures of it and looking more into the distinctive garden. I think it is beautiful to see.

                                

Second Activity will be Telluride Mountain Village Gondola. I think it would be so fun to ride the gondola, to sight see the views of San Juan Mountains. As well as, have the opportunity to be way up in the air. I would be nervous, but it is all for the experience and seeing the scenery. Definitely would be taking lots of photos way up in the air.

Third activity I would love to do is go skiing, I have no idea how to, but I would love to try and I want to pick a nice Ski suit and boots. As well as, see the mountains and how deep they are. I think this would be an exciting opportunity. Also, It would be a fun thing to do with my friends.

 

                                  

                                  

Lastly, the famous dish I would love to try is their truffle fries. I love fries, their fries consist of spritzed with truffle oil, flecked with parsley and topped with crumbles of Grana Padano. This sounds really good and as a fry lover I love to add certain toppings. So, I would definitely be down to try this.

Day 5 of 14 Days of Traveling: Hawaii

 

                                Hawaii 

 Welcome to the fifth day of  14 days of Traveling.  A place I would love to visit is Hawaii, I love the scenery and the view. I think it would be pretty awesome to go there. Three activities I would love to do is the Magical Mystery Show at Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel, Paradise Cove Luau and Sunset Whale Watch. As far as, famous dish, I would love to try the Malasada.

First activity I would love to do is visit the Magical mystery show at Hilton Waikiki Hotel. I think it would be pretty interesting to see a magic show, eat dinner and see captivating art with great scenery. Considering, I have not been to a magic show in years, I honestly forgot what tricks they normally have. But, this would definitely be something I would look forward to 

                            

       

Another Activity I would love to do is visit the Paradise Cove Lua, to see the traditional ceremonies, arts, crafts and games. This will allow me to learn more about the culture in Hawaii. Although, It is a trip for fun, I would love to be able to learn more about the history. As well as, learn a few of their moves. This would be a perfect activity for me.

    

Third Activity I would love to do would be the Sunset whale watch in Waikiki. I honestly love whales and sunsets so this would be so exciting to me. As well as, gives me a chance to see how the whales behave in the water in Hawaii, it could be different to the ones you see in the shows at the Shedd Aquarium. 

Lastly, a famous dessert dish I would love to try is Malasada. This is a ball of yeasty dough that they fry and cover it with sugar. Many times they decide to stuff it with fruit or cream or chocolate. I'm not a fan of filling in my doughnuts and so I would just try the dough. It has a unique name as well.

Day 4 of 14 Days of Traveling: Tokyo

 

                                    Tokyo 

Welcome to the fourth day of  14 days of Traveling.  I would love to visit Tokyo, every time I see an ad or Instagram reel that catches my eye it seems to always be a place located here. Which why not put it as one of the places I would love to travel to. Three activities I would love to do is Cosplay Go-Karting, Team Lab Planet Digital Art show and visit the studio tour Harry  Potter set. As far as, famous dish I would love to try Miso soup.

I would love to go Cosplay Go Karting. I think it would be pretty cool to be Go Karting in Tokyo, dressed as your favorite character. If I dressed up I would most likely be Princess Bubble Gum or Peach those were literally my favorites back when I use to play Mario Cart. This would be a great activity to do with either my family or friends depending on whoever I visit with.

Another Activity I would love to do is visit Team Lab planets digital art show. I would be so excited to see the lights, projections and sounds of the exhibits. Considering I have never been to a digital art show I believe this would be a great experience for me. As well as, to see the creativity that is put towards it inside the exhibit that it shown.

Third Activity I would love to visit the Harry Potter Set. I love Harry Potter, I think it would be awesome to visit the studio tour. Seeing the featured sets, props and costumes would really make my day. Also, using the photo ops and trying their butter beer would be pretty cool considering I have not tried it before.

A famous dish I would love to try is Miso soup, I love soup. Miso soup is made from dashi and miso. It has a salty-tasting paste made from fermented soybeans and koji. Sounds really good.
